DESCRIPTION:Extreme Close Quarter Tactics \nInstructor: Alessandro Padovani (Safer Faster Defense) & Omari Broussard (10X Defense) \nDescription: \nAn advanced 1-day course for experienced shooters and armed professionals. This course will focus on engagements inside of “double arm distance.” This course features a significant amount of retention work\, unorthodox shooting positions\, introduction to some Combat Focus shooting concepts and a variety of less-lethal options. During this course students will utilize impact reduction equipment and training rounds to engage one another and role-players with firearms while grappling and during various gun-grab or ambush scenarios. \nThe core components of this course are a key part of the curriculum for military special operations personnel who train with I.C.E. in the Close Quarters Counter Ambush program. \nThis is an intense course meant for armed professionals and individuals with advanced weapons handling skills and reasonable levels of physical fitness. Therefore\, students must have prior training experience with I.C.E. staff and approval to register for this course. Arrangements can be made for private instruction the day before the course starts to accommodate this requirement. SUMMARY:Fundamentals of Combat Focus® Carbine
DESCRIPTION:This is a one day version of the Combat Focus® Carbine Course. The CFC Program applies the principals of the Combat Focus® Shooting Program to the world of semi-automatic rifles.\nClick To Register\nStressing efficiency\, working with what the body does naturally and training in context\, Combat Focus Carbine is a progressive and dynamic course. Students will engage in a variety of shooting drills and maneuvers designed to make their shooting (sighted and unsighted) more intuitive. In addition to the fundamentals of close quarters defensive rifling\, students will be guided through handling techniques\, transitions to back up weapons and understanding how a variety of factors affect their balance between speed and precision with a carbine. Improvised shooting positions for heightened precision capabilities (smaller targets & ranges out to 150 yards) will also be covered. \nStudents should plan on 450 rounds of ammunition for this course-400 rifle and 50 pistol. \nStudents are welcome to bring extra ammunition\, as there will be certain drills where round count can easily be increased. \nPlease Note: In order to register for this course\, a student must have completed a CFS course that offers at least one (1) day of CFS instruction. \nClick To Register
